What’s New at An Award, a New Program & some Events

As the startup continues to grow and is reinventing the sports fan experience using the latest innovations on augmented reality, we have some great news to share as we had the chance to participate in interesting events around sports and immersive technologies, and our work has been recently recognized by sports stakeholders with an award and the selection in a new startup accelerator program.

Winner of the Reimagine Football Competition, in the Excellent Stadium Experience

We’re thrilled to announce that won the Reimagine Football competition, the worldwide challenge launched by the Football Innovation Platform (reuniting innovative actors of the sports industry such as the UEFA, City Football Group, Johan Cruijff Arena, KNVB & Ajax). The purpose of this challenge was to find the best innovations for Football.

The challenge reunited 329 submissions and the six winners were announced on the 11 of September after a series of virtual pitches.’s solution, ARISE, which aims at providing an interactive solution for sports fans using augmented reality content, won the “Excellent Stadium Experiences” challenge.

This solution has great potential in the long run, when infrastructure will be in place, we believe there is a big potential to provide unprecedented live experience within stadiums

After winning the MIT Sloan Sports Startup Competition previously in 2020, it’s a huge recognition for our team to win a competition once again.

World Football Summit Live StartCup: Final round in November

Speaking about competitions, as we’ve already announced, was also selected among the 8 finalists of the World Football Summit Live StartCup. The competition, supported by Microsoft’s Global Innovation Center, gathered the most innovative startups of the sports industry.

The final round of StartCup will take place during the next WFS Live, the 23-27 November. We look forward to seeing you there and pitch again our solution ARISE to the football industry’s representatives. joined the Foundry Munich, Fall 2020 Kickoff Fan Experience was selected by SAP to join the accelerator program for a special cohort gathering the most innovative startups creating solutions for sports arenas, in order to study opportunities for the future SAP Garden in Munich, that will be home to the ice hockey team EHC Red Bull Munich and basketball club FC Bayern Basketball.

We are looking forward to working with SAP ecosystem, partners and solutions to provide SAP’s long-time customers Red Bull & FC Bayern the best fan experience possible in-stadium! present at the Laval Virtual Days Sport is a long-time partner of Laval Virtual, which features many interesting conferences around immersive technologies, especially virtual reality and augmented reality. For the next LV Days, Laval Virtual decided to focus on sports and how immersive technologies will impact it in the future. was invited for a use-case: “Experience Sports Events Differently”. Kevin Cepisul, project manager at took advantage of this conference to present our work with the DFL and Vodafone, in creating the future of the fan experience in stadiums with AR and live statistics, using 5G’s infrastructures.

All That Matters Conference: Sports Tech Matters case study featuring

Last but not least, took part in the global conference All That Matters, a major event (virtual in 2020) that aims at reimagining the future of the music, sports, gaming & online entertainment industries in Asia.

Responding to the Asia Sports Tech invitation, Emmanuelle Roger, founder & CEO of was present for a discussion around the following topic: Sports Tech Matters: Case Study – The New Normal Connecting Fans Outside and Inside the Stadium using AR, AI and 5G. It was the occasion to share some insights about the technologies that will change the sports industry in the near future, the need to innovate for the fans (especially with new types of immersive & 3D content in AR/VR for example), and the need for sports brands to embrace innovations if they want to continue to be so engaging & beloved.
